Caroline’s Trust...

Watson Memorial Home, a special place for women without partners who have reached the age of 65 and no longer wish to live on their own. This wonderful facility was made possible through the bequest of Mrs. Caroline Watson upon her death in 1919. After many years of preparation, The Watson Memorial Home opened for residents in 1935. The “home” is an incorporated non- profit organization and is registered as a Personal Care Home in Pennsylvania.  We are Christian based and non denominational. A board of directors assists the home's current Administrator Mrs. Lynn Parker, with the financial, building and grounds, in- house and admission decisions. There is no minimum financial requirement for admission to the home. Applicants are screened for physical and psychological suitability. When their application has been accepted, their assets are turned over to the home and they are guaranteed care for the rest of their lives.  The Watson Home's " lifetime guarantee" includes a private room with ½ bath to which a dedicated staff provides weekly housekeeping and laundry services.
